New Name, New Issue, New Web Address
Posted by kelly
Exciting News! Starting with the
February 2008 issue
,
Watercolor Magic
will now be called
Watercolor Artist
.
I know a lot of you have grown attached to "the
Magic
" in the past 15 years. Believe me, we didn't make the decision to change the name lightly. Rest assured, you'll still find all your favorite columns, as well as the inspiring stories and helpful tips and techniques from your favorite painters that you've come to expect. But, while the magazine will still celebrate the magic of watercolor, the new name puts the focus where it rightfully belongs—on you, the artist.

I believe the name change is great! It suits what this magazine truly offers. Very positive action. CnJvjc

Thanks. We see the name change as a real positive step in moving the magazine forward. I'm glad it struck a chord with you.

i think this magazine, site, blog combination is hitting the mark for todays artist. as a watercolorist i enjoy seeing the latest technique and the work of quality artists. As a calligrapher i was very excited to see the latest font developments featured in the redesigning of this issue. Marlene
